iṟai (p. 57) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To pour out, lave, irrigate, draw and pour out, நீரிறைக்க. 2. To cast forth. strew, scatter abroad, சிதற. 3. To give liberally, மிகக்கொடுக்க. 4. (Met.) To lavish, spend lavishly, squander, அளவுகடந்துசெல விட. 5. v. n. [vul.] To flow or issue--as blood, milk, &c., சொரிய. பணத்தையெங்குமிறைத்துப்போட்டான். He has squandered the money. இறைகூடை, s. A large basket for irrigation, நீரிறைக்குங்கூடை. இறைமரம், s. Three poles connected at the top, forming a support for a basket used in watering fields, இறை வைமரம். 2. A well-sweep and pole, ஏற்ற மரம். 3. [prov.] A long wooden boat suspended for watering fields, நீரிறைக்கு மரப்பத்தல். இறைப்பு, v. noun. Pouring or casting out, laving, irrigation, நீரிறைக்கை. 2. Scattering, lavishing, squandering, waste, profusion, வாரியிறைக்கை. இறைவை, s. Any contrivance for raising water for irrigation--as a well-basket, இறைகூடு. 2.
