cāṭṭāngkam (p. 174) --சாஷ்டாங்கம், s. Prostration in worship, or reverence by bringing eight parts of the body in contact with the ground. viz.; the hands, the feet, the breast, the shoulders and forehead, தெய்வவணக்கம். 2. nṉṟu (p. 272) [appellative of a symbolic verb. or 3d per. neut. from நல், used substantively.] That which is good, or beneficial, a good, நல்லது. 2. Virtue, morality, நன்மை. 3. Greatness, excellence, பெருமை. 4. Copiousness, abundance, மிகுதி. 5. Prosperity, welfare, வாழ்வு. எல்லார்க்கும்நன்றாம்பணிதலவருள்ளுஞ்செல்வர்க்கே செலவந்தகைத்து. Doing good is becoming to all; to the rich it is added wealth. நன்றாய், adv. Well, prosperously, beautifully, liberally. எல்லாருக்கும்நன்றாய்கொடுக்கிறான். He gives liberally to all. நன்றாயிரு. pṇi (p. 292) கிறேன், ந்தேன், வேன், பணிய, v. n. To become, or be, low in rank, or office; to be low, as a house or branch; to be short, as a person, a post, or a tree, தாழ. 2. To bow, to bend, to stoop; to make obeisance or a courtesy, to prostrate one's self in reverence, or worship; to be humble, submissive, வணங்க. 3. To decline, as a bird, &c., இறங்க. (c.) 4.
