patārttam (p. 294) s. Thing, being, substance, matter, article, commodity, drug, form of existence--whether spiritual or material, வஸ்து. See பண்டபதார்த்தம். 2. Entity, existence--as of the Deity, the soul, moral good or evil, &c., திரிபதார்த்தம். 3. An eatable, any article of food; materials for food, தின்பண்டம். 4. Curry, or any food except rice, கறிமுதலியன. 5. Property, moveable wealth, திரவியம். 6. Meaning of a word or sentence, பதப்பொருள்; [ex பதம்.] அறுசுவைபதார்த்தங்கள், s.
