pattaṉ (p. 294) --பக்தன், s. [plu. பத்தர்.] A pious godly man, பத்தியுள்ளோன். 2. A devotee, a votary or adherent of a religious system, தொண்டன்; [ex பத்தி.] பத்தகணம், s. The devotees of any sect taken collectively, பத்தர்கூட்டம். பத்தசனம், s. Throng or multitude of devotees, பத்தியுள்ளவர்கள். 61)
