(சது.)--Of palmyra species are different varieties: அலகுபனை or ஆண்பனை male pal myra tree; கூந்தற்பனை, Caryota; தாளிப்பனை the talipot tree. பருவப்பனை, பெண்பனை, female palmyra tree.
