kūṭai (p. 133) s. An oblong or other kind of basket, made of ratan, ola, &c., பிரம்புமுதலிய வற்றிற்செய்தகூடை. 2. [local.] An ola covering from rain, மழைக்கூடை. 3. A variety in dancing, கூத்தின்விகற்பம். கூடைபின்ன--கூடைமுடைய, inf. To plat கூடை bags or baskets. அங்கமணிக்கூடை, s. [local.] A basket of presents to a newly married girl, &c. இறைகூடை, கொடிக்கூடை, கொட்டுக்கூடை, சாட்டைக்கூடை, தட்டுக்கூடை, தாற்றுக்கூடை, தூற்றுக்கூடை, நெல்லுக்கூடை, பனாட்டுக்கூடை, பிரப்பங்கூடை, புட்டுக்கூடை, பூக்கூடை, வடுவக் கூடை are baskets of different kinds and for different uses, See these words. 27)

pṉāṭṭu (p. 304) s. Dried palmyra pulp or jelly, காய்ந்தபனங்களி; [ex பனை et அட்டு.] (c.) --The compounds are used in Jaffna. பனாட்டுக்கூடைபோல. Like a large basket of palmyra jelly, spoken of persons short and fat. பனாட்டுக்கிள்ளு, s. A broken piece of palmyra cake. பனாட்டுத்தட்டு, s. Thin lamina of பனாட்டு. பனாட்டுத்தோல், s.
