mār (p. 351) s. Breast, properly மார்பு. (c.) 2. A plural termination of nouns--as தகப்பன் மார், fathers; and poetically of verbs--as உண்மார், பலர்பால்விகுதி. மாரடிக்க, inf. Bewailing the dead by beating one's breast. See மயிரிழவு. மாரெலும்பு, s. Breast bone, as மார் பெலும்பு. மார்க்கண்டம், s. The breast of man or beast. மார்க்கண்டம்வேகவில்லை.
