cuḷai (p. 198) s. The pulp of jack-fruit, the divisions of a wild pine; the receptacles for juice in the orange, pine, custard apple, &c., பலாமுதலியவற்றின் சுளை. (c.) சுளையெடுக்க, inf. To take out the pulp. சுளைசுளையாய்ப்பேர்க்க, inf. To remove the pulp gradually. தோலிருக்கச்சுளைவிழுங்கி. One who extracts the pulp leaving the skin whole; --applied to a person who artfully embezzles leaving no marks. 80)
