To be choked, or stifled in the throat. நெஞ்சடைப்பு--நெஞ்சடைவாதம், s. Obstruction in the chest, ஓர்நோய். நெஞ்சழிதல், v. noun. Failing or being overwhelmed, as the heart with sorrow, or fear. 2. Loss of consciousness, through sorrow, fear, drunkenness, &c. 3. Being overcome with lust; losing self-control. நெஞ்சறிய, inf. [as an adverb.] Consciously. நெஞ்சறியப்பொய்சொல்லலாமோ. Can you knowingly lie? நெஞ்சறிவிளக்கம், s. A treatise. நெஞ்சன், s. [in combin.] A hard-hearted person. See கன்னெஞ்சகன், வன்னெஞ்சகன். 2. [prov.] A bold, daring person, துணி வுடையோன். 3. A person of self-importance, இடும்பன். நெஞ்சாங்கட்டை, s. The breast-bone, as நெஞ்செலும்பு. 2.
