piẕai (p. 318) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To live, to survive an evil, as danger of death, &c., to outlive, to escape, to survive another, மோசத்திற்குவிலக. 2. To get a livelihood, to live, to subsist, சீவனம் பண்ண. 3. To recover from swooning, sickness, &c., to be restored to life--as one dead, உய்ய.--Note. See, under பிழை, s., the same verb with a different meaning. (c.) கணவனைப்பிழைத்தவன். A woman that has survived her husband. (p.) பிழைகாயம், s. A wound not mortal. பிழைக்கப்பார்த்தல், v. noun. Seeking one's living. பிழைப்பு, v. noun. Subsistence, maintenance, living, livelihood, sustenance, சீவனம். 2. Restoration, recovery, or escape from threatening death, உயிர்க்கை. (c.) 3. [ex பிழை, to err.] Mistake, failure, error, miscarriage, abortion, தவறுதல். பிழைப்புக்காட்ட, inf. To provide means of subsistence--as employment, &c. பிழைப்புத்தழைப்பு, v. noun. Income, living, livelihood. பிழைப்புத்தேட--பிழைப்புப்பார்்க்க, inf. To look for employment, to seek for a livelihood. பிழைப்பூட்ட, inf. To support, sustain, maintain, காப்பாற்ற. 2.
