puṟṟu (p. 328) s. [vul. புத்து, Tel. புட்ட.] Anthill, any hillock thrown up by animals. See கறையான். 2. Any thing scurvy, scrofulous, or cancerous, considered as resembling ant-hills, &c., as கன்னப்புற்று. 3. Hole of snakes ants, rats, &c., வளை. (c.) புற்றுப்புற்றாய்ப்புறப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
