Easiness, facility, being easy to effect, acquire, attain, endure, to be understood; easiness of access, எளிது. 5. Solitariness, தனிமை; [ex எள்.] எளிஞர்--எளியர்--எளியார்--எளி யோர், s. The low, mean, destitute, the poor, தரித்திரர். எளிதரவு, [impr. for. எளிவரல்.] Indigence, poverty, despicableness, cringing, தரித்திரம். 2. Lowness, humility, தாழ்மை. எளிது, s. [impr. எளிசு.] Being easy of execution, acquisition, &c., இலேசு. எளிதானகாரியம், s. A trifling thing, a trivial affair, a thing easily understood. எளியகுடி, s. Poor, destitute inhabitants. 2. A family low in rank. எளியகொடை, s. Unworthy gifts, presents unsuitable to the persons to whom they are made. எளியது, s. That which is despicable, low trifling, &c., எளிமையானது. எளியவன்--எளியன், s. A man of low caste, a person poor, destitute, mean, &c. எளியவன்பெண்டாட்டியெல்லாருக்கும்மைத்துன ச்சி. The wife of a poor man is free of access to every body. எளியாரைவலியார்கேட்பின் வலியாரைத்தெய்வங் கேட்கும். If the powerful oppress the weak, the deity will require it of them. எளியவிலை, s. Low price. எளியவேலை, s. Low, menial work. கைக்கெளியது, s. That which is portable, small, easily carried, stolen, secreted, managed, as a child, &c. தாளையேதரமறிகிலாதெமக்கெளிதருசிவப்பிரகாசன். puẕu (p. 327) க்கிறது, த்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. To breed as worms, maggots, mites, &c., புழுச் செனிக்க. 2. To be eaten by worms, புழுத்துப் போக. 3. [fig. in combin.] To be superabundant, as fruits, &c., மிக. 4. [vul.] To abuse, துஷிக்க. (c.) அவனென்னைப்புழுத்தபாட்டப்பாடுகிறான்..... He abuses me shamefully. இந்தவருஷம்பலாக்காயாய்ப்புழுத்துப்போயிற்று. The jack fruit is abundant this year. இரண்டுபெண்டாட்டிக்காரன்புழுத்துச்செத்தான்.... peṇṭu (p. 333) s. [plu. பெண்டீர், பெண்டு கள்.] A woman, பெண். 2. A wife, மனைவி. பெண்டாட்டி, appel. n. A wife, a married woman; [ex ஆள்.] See ஆட்டி. 2. [vul.] A woman. பெண்டுகட்ட, inf. To reproach either sex with criminal intercourse. பெண்டுகள்சட்டி, s. One who is under his wife's management. பெண்டுபிள்ளை, s. Wife and children. 3)

mūngkil (p. 361) s. [com. used மூங்கி.] The common graceful bambû, Bambûsa arundinacea, வேய்.--There are கல்மூங்கில், that which is hard; குழாய்மூங்கில், that with a hollow stem; also விஷமூங்கில், and வேலிமூங் கில், which see. மூங்கிற்பாயுமுரட்டுப்பெண்டாட்டியும். A bambû mat and an obstinate wife. [prov.] மூங்கிலரிசி, s. The seed of the bambû freed from the husk; sometimes eaten. மூங்கிலுப்பு, s. A medicinal salt found in certain female bambûs, composed of silex and potash, Tabasheer. [Ains. v.i. p. 419.] மூங்கிற்குத்து--மூங்கிற்போத்து, s. A cluster of bambû-saplings. See குத்து. மூங்கிற்குழல்-மூங்கிற்குழாய், s. Tube of a bambû மூங்கிற்புதர், s. A thicket of bambûcanes. மூங்கிற்றடி, s. [sometimes மூங்கிற்சுழி.] A bambû-cane or stick. பாம்புக்கிராசாமூங்கிற்றடி. A bambû-rod is a king for a snake. மூங்கிற்றப்பை, s. [com. மூங்கிடப்பை.] A split bambû [ex தப்பை.] மூங்கினெல், s. The unhusked bambûseed; [ex நெல்.] மூங்கின்முத்து, s. Pearls said to be produced from the bambû. See முத்துச் சனிப்பு. 23)
