poṟukku (p. 337) கிறேன், பொறுக்கினேன், வே ன், பொறுக்க, v. a. To pick up here and there; to glean, to pick out from a mass, to garble; to pick up--as birds, பொறுக்க. (c.) பொறுக்கி--பொறுக்கித்தின்னி, appel. n. [also பொறுக்குண்ணி.] One who gets his food here and there. (abusive.) கற்பொறுக்கி, appel. n. A bird, Tringa variegata. See கல்லு. 81)
