vinōtam (p. 394) s. Pastime, diversion, play, sport, பொழுதுபோக்கு. 2. Beauty, handsomeness, pomp, அழகு. [Sa. Vinod'ha.] அதுமெத்தவிநோதம். It is very handsome. வினோதமாய்ச்செய்கிறவன், appel. n. He is unemployed. வீணலப்பு, v. noun. Talking to no purpose. வீணன், s. An idle, useless person. வீணாய்--விணுக்கு--வீணே, adv. Vainly. வீணாரவீணன், s. A person who has no right to what he demands. வீணாவிலே, As வீணாய். வீணிழவு, s. A vain deprivation, useless privation. வீண்காலம்--வீணாள், s. Time spent in vain. வீண்செலவு, s.
