appoẕutu (p. 18) --அப்போது, [vul.] அப்போ, [poetic.] அப்போழ்து, s. [used adverbially.] Then, at that time, அக்காலத்தில். 2. Then, in that case, in such circumstances, or under such condition, அப்படியி ருக்க; [ex அ, et பொழுது.] அப்போதைக்கப்போது, On proper occasions, forthwith, henceforth, from time to time.

uṇṭā (p. 59) கிறது, னது, கும், க, v. n. To come into existence, to rise into being, happen, occur, take place, become, to be formed, to form, to concrete, உளதாக. 2. To become, to be made or created, தோன்ற. 3. To be conceived, to have origin, கருவுண்டாக. 4. To grow as vegetables, thrive, flourish, to be produced, be productive, &c., முளைக்க. 5. To become rich, wealthy, opulent, to prosper, செல்வமுண்டாக; [ex உள்.] (c.) உண்டாயபோழ்தினுடைந்துழிக்காகம்போற்றொண் டாயிரவர்தொகுபவே. Thousands crowd about the wealthy as crows about a corpse. (நாலடி.) எனக்குண்டானவுடைமை. My property. உலகமுண்டானதுமுதல். From the creation of the world. பிள்ளையுண்டாயிருக்கிறவன். A pregnant woman. சதுரக்கள்ளியிலகிலுண்டாகும். eppoẕutu (p. 73) --எப்போது--எப் போழ்து. When, at what time, எக்காலம்; [ex எ.] எப்பொழுதும். Always, at all times, continually. எப்போதாகிலும். Whensoever, at any time. எப்போதுமுள்ளது. That which is eternal. எப்போதுவந்தாலும். Whenever he comes. எப்போதைக்கும். Forever. 65)

ēmā (p. 79) க்கிறேன், ந்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To be proud, haughty, inflated, selfconceited, sprightly; to strut, to be stiff in gait, செருக்குற. 2. to be exhilerated, to be overjoyed, to exult, to be in an extacy, to experience the highest delight, மிகக் களிக்க. (p.) ஏமாந்தபோழ்தின். When exalted in prosperity. (நாலடி.) எனக்கெனக்கென்றென்றேமாந்திருந்தகாவலரைநோ க்கி. Addressing the kings who were greatly elated. each one hoping to get the damsel. (பாரத.) ஏமாந்தகொங்கை, s. Full, prominent breasts. ஏமாப்பு, v. noun. Pride, self-conceit, insolence, elation, செருக்கு. 2. Exhileration, spiritual joy, highest happiness, மிகக்களிப்பு. 3. A safe-guard, defence, security, காவல். 4. Thought, intention, கருத்து. (p.) எழுமையுமேமாப்புடைத்து. It will prove a safe-guard throughout the seven births. (குறள். 4.) ஏமாப்புற, inf. muṭṭu (p. 356) s. Want, difficulty, straits, extremity, இடுக்கண். 2. Battering; butting of a beast, முட்டுகை. 3. A prop, a support, தாங்கல். 4. Utensil, as தட்டுமுட்டு. 5. A blockade, an impediment, அடைப்பு. 6. [in combin.] A musical instrument, as நட்டுமுட்டு. 7. A bridle, கடிவாளம். 8. The knee, முழங்கால். 9. The menses of women, தொடக்கு. 1. (R.) Rising ground, மேடு. முட்டுற்றபோழ்தின். In the time of adversity. (நாலடி.) எனக்குவெகுமுட்டாயிருக்கிறது. I am in great straits (for money). முட்டாட்டம், v. noun. Stupidity, முட் டாள்தன்மை. 2. Pertinacity, or conceit arising from ignorance. (Beschi.) 3. (R.) Butting. முட்டாட்டமாடுகிறான். He is very pertinacious. முட்டுக்கட்ட, inf. To place a prop. 2. To blockade, shut up a place or an entrance, shut or beset the avenues of a town, வழியடைக்க. 3. [prov.] To form ridges in a field, to limit or confine within bounds, எல்லைகட்ட. 4. To form a pile of earth for plants that the water may not injure them. முட்டுக்கட்டியாட, inf. To go on stilts. முட்டுக்கட்டை, s. A block or stake as a prop or support. முட்டுக்காய்த்தேங்காய், s. [prov.] A premature cocoa-nut, இளந்தேங்காய். முட்டுக்கால், s. A supporter, pedestal or beam to support an old wall or an inclined tree. 2. As முட்டிக்கால். முட்டுக்குத்த, inf. To fall upon the knees. (Beschi.) முட்டுக்குநிற்க, inf. To be ready to butt--as beasts. முட்டுக்கொடுத்தல், v. noun. Setting a beam or pole to support any heavy body. முட்டுச்சீலை, s. A menstruous cloth. முட்டுண்ண, inf. To be dashed against. (c.) முட்டுண்டுகுனிகிறது. Ducking the head after having struck it against a lintel; implying previous want of caution. முட்டுத்தொய்வு, v. noun. Difficulty of breathing, from pulmonary disease, or the approach of death. முட்டுப்பட, inf. To be pressed, perplexed, in difficulty, or extremity as one beset by creditors, &c. முட்டுப்பாடு, v. noun.
