mṭi (p. 340) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To bend, to turn down, turn in; to double, to fold--as the arms; to double up; to braid; to plat, மடக்க. 2. [in comb.] To baffle in speech, to confound by artifice, to play upon words, to equivocate, பேச்சிலேமடங் கடிகக. 3. To kill, destroy, கொல்ல. (c.) காரியத்தைமடிக்க--பேச்சைமடிக்க, inf.
