cimiṇṭu (p. 185) கிறேன், சிமிண்டினேன், வேன், சிமிண்ட, v. a. (Com. சீண்டு.) To touch with the finger, tickle; pluck, pinch. Compare நிமிண்டு. கக்கத்திற்சிமிண்டுகிறகைநமனல்லவோ. Is not the hand that tickles one's armpit a minister of death? சிமிண்டிக்காட்ட, inf. To pull one and point with the hand. (R.) 6)

nimiṇṭu (p. 277) கிறேன், நிமிண்டினேன், வேன், நிமிண்ட, v. a. To rub between the hands, as ears of corn, நிமிட்ட. 2. To pick with the fingers as a boil, a scab, &c., கிள்ள. (c.) 3.
