[vul.] A bad smell, fish-smell, மீன்கவிச்சு. அவன்நீச்சுமேலேவந்தான். He came swimming. நீச்சலடிக்க, inf. To swim. இவனுக்குமீசையிலேநீச்சடிக்கவேணும். He will not eat without the smell of fish on his whiskers; i. e. he always eats fish. நீச்சாள், s. A swimmer. நீச்சுக்காரர், s. [pl.] Swimmers. நீச்சுத்தண்ணீர், s. Water of swimming depth. 2. [vul.] As நீராகாரம். நீச்சுநிலை, s. Swimming depth and shallow water நீச்சுநிலையறிய, s. To examine the deep and shallow places; i. e. to investigate a business. 2.
