mukkāṭu (p. 356) s. [gen. முக்காட்டின்.] A veil, or part of a cloth, worn as a hood by females. (c.) வெட்கமேகெட்டு வெளிப்பட்டமுண்டைக்கு முக்கா டேது. Why does an impudent, bald-headed widow want a veil? முக்காடிட--முக்காடுபோட, inf. To veil, or cover the head by pulling up a part of the cloth. முக்காடுவாங்க, inf. To uncover the head. முக்காட்டங்கி--முக்காட்டுச்சீலை, s. A hood worn by females. முக்காட்டுக்கூறை, s. See கூறை. நிறைமுக்காடு, s.
