To exceed, to rise above mediocrity, to excel, surpass, become satiated, தேற. முதிர்ந்தகல்வி. Mature knowledge. முதிர்ந்திருக்கிறபெண். An unmarried woman of more than twenty-years of age. வயதினாற்கிழவனாகிலுஞ்செய்கையினாலின்னம்முதிர்ந் தவனல்ல. Though he is old in years, he is not discreet. (Beschi.) முதிரவேக, inf. To be much dried, at the fire. முதிராப்பிண்டம், s. An embryo; a f&oe;tus. முதிர்காற்று, s. A gale, strong wind, கடுங்காற்று. முதிர்ந்தசொல்--முதிர்ந்தபேச்சு, s. Language above one's age, habits, or knowledge. முதிர்ந்தபுத்தி, s. Mature understanding. வாலிபத்திலேமுதிர்ந்தபுத்திகுறுகினவயசடையாள மாம். Precocity is an index of short life. முதிர்ந்திட, inf. To become of age; to be old, as முதிர. முதிர்பிறை, s. The second quarter of the increasing moon, வளர்பிறை. முதிர்வேனில், s. Season of greatest heat. See பருவம். முதிர்ச்சி, v. noun.
