A piece of leaf, commonly plantain, to eat from, வாழையிலைத்துண்டு. இலைமூக்கரிகத்தி, s. A kind of knife for cutting the stem of the betelleaf, வெற்றிலைக்காம்பரிகத்தி. இலையறுக்க, inf. To cut off leaves. இலையுதிர்வு, s. The fall of leaves, இலைவிழுகை. 2. An ancient forest, முது காடு. இலைவாணிகம்--இலைவாணிபம், s. Cultivation of, and trade in vegetables. இலைவாணிபர், s. Sellers of betelleaf, vegetables, &c.--one of the eighteen குடிமக்கள். இலைத்தல்--இலையிலைத்தல், v. noun. The rope or string which is put through a bullock's nose for a bridle. மூக்காங்கயிறுகுத்துகிறது. Perforating a bullock's nose for the string. மூக்கந்தண்டு, s. [com. மூக்காந்தண்டு.] Bridge of the nose. மூக்கரிகத்தி, s. [poet. குளிரி.] An instrument for nipping betel-leaves. (சது.) மூக்கறிவு, s. Knowing by smell. மூக்கறை, s. A woman whose husband has no nose can neither go forward nor backward; applied to a fickleminded master. மூக்கன், s. A man with a large nose. See காக்கைமூக்கன். மூக்காங்கொழுந்து--மூக்குக்கொழுந்து, s. End of the nose. மூக்காலேபோகிறசீவன். A living being which breathes its last by the nose; said of men in contempt. மூக்காலேயழுதல், v. noun. Snivelling, crying through the nose. மூக்கிலி, appel. n.
