Unconsiousness, either absolute or transient; one of the three degrees of consciousness of the soul, the other two being சகலம் and சத்தம். (See காரணகேவலம், and காரியகேவலம்--Note. The five காரியகே வலம்.) states (momentary, transient unconsciousness of the living soul) are, 1. கே வலசாக்கிரம். 2. கேவலசொப்பனம். 3. கேவல கழுத்தி. 4. கேவலதுரியம். 5. கேவலதுரியதீதம். கேவலந்தீர்வலியபகை.
