vṇngku (p. 375) கிறேன், வணங்கினேன், வேன், வணங்க, v. a. To worship, to adore; to reverence, to salute respectfully, தொழ. 2. v. n. To submit one's self, பணிய. 3. To bend, to yield as a plant to the flood, or the wind, வளைய. வணங்காக்கழுத்து, s. An unbending neck. வணங்காமுடியினன்--வணங்காமுடி யோன், appel. n. One not subject to any other, an independent monarch, சார்வ பௌமன். (சது.) 2. An epithet of Duryodhana who bowed his head to none, துரி யோதனன். வணங்கிச்செய்ய, inf.
