vṟṟu (p. 381) கிறேன், வற்றினேன், வேன், வற்ற, v. n. [vul. வத்து.] To grow dry, dry up--as water; to evaporate, சுவற. 2. To subside, as the tide, வடிய. 3. To become absorbed as humors, or a collection in an abscess, உலா. (Ell. 222. 31.) 4. To wither, to become dry--as leaves or fruit, வாட; [ex வல்.] குளம்வற்றிப்போயிற்று.
