pṭu (p. 291) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To lie down for sleep, or otherwise; to roost as birds, கிடக்க. (சது.) 2. v. a. To thresh grain, போரடிக்க. 3. To pave, to floor, to lay a stratum, தளவரிசைசெய்ய. 4. To catch, to ensnare, to make, செய்ய. 6. )(St.) To kill, to destroy, கொல்ல. இங்கேபடேன். Lie down here; or, I will not lie here. செங்கல்படுத்தமுற்றம். A yard paved with bricks. (Beschi.) இருந்தல்லோபடுக்கவேண்டும். Should we not first sit and then lie down. ஒருபடுக்கையாய்ப்படுத்துக்கொள்ளுதல். Continuing lying down. படுக்கவைக்க, inf. To lay any thing down. பிள்ளையைப்படுக்கவை.
