mkṭi (p. 338) --மகிடி--மகுடி, s. A kind of hautboy, used by snake-charmers, ஓர்குழல். 2. [com. மோடி.] A trial of magical powers between two enchanters, in which one hides some treasure from the other, ஓர்வ கைவித்தை. 3. A common play in imitation of the above, ஓர்விளையாட்டு. 4. The pipe blown when searching for the treasure, ஓரூதுகுழல். (c.) மகிடிக்குழல், s. The above pipe, composed of the shell of curbita lassinarica. மகிடியெடுக்க, inf.
