An incarnation of Durga, to destroy Mahishásura, துர்க்கை. (p.) 3. A kind of tree, the leaves of which are medicinal; also used for food, ஓர்மரம். சண்டித்தனம், s. Shamelessness, foolhardiness, obstinacy. சண்டிப்பயல், s. A roguish fellow, a stubborn, fool-hardy fellow. சண்டிமாடு, s. A lazy untractable bullock or cow. 2. (fig.)
