Four classes of women: 1. பதுமினி, the highest class, possessing excellence of form, and sweetness of disposition; 2. சித்திருணி or சித்தினி, a class addicted to love; 3. சங்கினி, a mediocre class, irascible and passionate; 4. அத்தினி, the lowest class libidinous and furious. பெண்வழி, s. pollā (p. 337) --பொல்லாத, adj. Bad, vicious, evil, wicked.--Note. In some meanings it shows intensity. பொல்லாப்பிள்ளையிலில்லாப்பிள்ளை. Better to be destitute of a child than to have a bad one. பொல்லாக்காலம்--பொல்லாதகாலம்-பொல்லாதவேளை, s. An evil or unpropitious time. பொல்லாங்கு, s. Evil, vice, vileness, wickedness, தீங்கு. 2. (சது.) Defect, misfortune, ஈனம். 3. Ruin, injury, destruction, கேடு. 4. Forgetfulness, மறதி. பொல்லாதநடக்கை, s. An evil or wicked life. பொல்லாதநினைவு, s. A wicked or bad thought. பொல்லாதமருந்து, s. Very powerful medicine. பொல்லாதவன், s. An atrociously wicked man. பொல்லாதவிஷம், s. A rank poison. பொல்லாதவேளை, s. An unlucky time. பொல்லாது--பொல்லாதது, appel. n. [vul. பொல்லது.] That which is evil, bad, mischievous, dangerous. பொல்லாப்பு, s. Evil, vileness, as பொ ல்லாங்கு. பொல்லாப்புச்சொல்ல--பொல்லாப்புப் பேச, inf. To asperse, to defame. பொல்லாப்புப்பட, inf. To suffer wrong. பொல்லாப்புப்பண்ண, inf. To do evil, to displease a friend; to hurt one's feelings. பொல்லாமை, s. Evil, badness, wickedness, தீமை. பொல்லாய். Thou art evil. (p.) பொல்லார், s.
