To encourage, to animate, to cheer, to embolden. திடத்துவம், s. Strength, power, vigor, ability, வல்லமை. திடநம்பிக்கை, s. Strong confidence, assured hope. திடபரம்--திடவரம், s. (Tel.) Certainty, positiveness, infallibility, நிச்சயம். 2. Firmness, boldness, correctness, உறுதி. திடபுருஷன், s. A strong, or powerful man, தைரியவான். திடப்பட, inf.
