añcu (p. 7) கிறேன், அஞ்சினேன், வேன், அஞ்ச, v. a. [used with the dative, sometimes with the accusative.] To fear, dread, பயப்பட, as அவனுக்கஞ்சுகிறேன், I fear him; அவனையஞ்சினான்.
