pḷicciṭutl (p. 303) --பளிச்செனல், v. noun. [vul. பளிச்சட்டியெனல்.] Gleaming, flashing, as பளபளவெனல். பளிச்சுப்பளிச்செனல், v. noun. Flashing, coruscating. பளிச்சுப்பளிச்சென்றுபேசுதல், Speaking rapidly, promptly, decidedly, energetically, abusing one to the face. பளிச்சுப்பளிச்சென்றுமின்னுதல், v. noun. Lightning vividly flash after flash. பளிச்சென்றுவிளங்குதல், v. noun. Being understood instantly, as the meaning of a verse, &c. 2. Shining brightly. பளிச்சென்றுவீசிவிட, inf. To give one a slap on the cheek suddenly. 2. To throw off any thing hostile. 16)

miṉ (p. 355) மின்னுகிறது, மின்னினது, மின் னும், மின்ன, v. n. To lighten, flash, coruscate, glitter, ஒளிசெய்ய. (c.) மின்னுகிறதெல்லாம்பொன்னுமல்ல. All is not gold that glitters. மின்னாமலிடியிடித்தது. It fell as a thunderbolt without flashing-spoken of false charges published on a sudden. மின்னிமின்னியிடிக்க, inf. To thunder with incessant lightning. மின்னியார்க்க, inf. To lighten and thunder.
