Easiness, facility, being easy to effect, acquire, attain, endure, to be understood; easiness of access, எளிது. 5. Solitariness, தனிமை; [ex எள்.] எளிஞர்--எளியர்--எளியார்--எளி யோர், s. The low, mean, destitute, the poor, தரித்திரர். எளிதரவு, [impr. for. எளிவரல்.] Indigence, poverty, despicableness, cringing, தரித்திரம். 2. Lowness, humility, தாழ்மை. எளிது, s. [impr. எளிசு.] Being easy of execution, acquisition, &c., இலேசு. எளிதானகாரியம், s. A trifling thing, a trivial affair, a thing easily understood. எளியகுடி, s. Poor, destitute inhabitants. 2. A family low in rank. எளியகொடை, s. Unworthy gifts, presents unsuitable to the persons to whom they are made. எளியது, s. That which is despicable, low trifling, &c., எளிமையானது. எளியவன்--எளியன், s. A man of low caste, a person poor, destitute, mean, &c. எளியவன்பெண்டாட்டியெல்லாருக்கும்மைத்துன ச்சி. The wife of a poor man is free of access to every body. எளியாரைவலியார்கேட்பின் வலியாரைத்தெய்வங் கேட்கும். If the powerful oppress the weak, the deity will require it of them. எளியவிலை, s. Low price. எளியவேலை, s. Low, menial work. கைக்கெளியது, s. That which is portable, small, easily carried, stolen, secreted, managed, as a child, &c. தாளையேதரமறிகிலாதெமக்கெளிதருசிவப்பிரகாசன். cittar (p. 182) s. One of the eighteen classes of supernals, or demigods inhabiting the middle air or region between the earth and the sun, embracing several subdivisions, தேவகணத்தொருதிறத்தோர். 2. A class of magicians who, by the performance of certain mystical and magical rites, have acquired superhuman powers, being able to perform miracles; or one or more of the eight சித்தி, அஷ்டசித்தியடைந் தோர். 3. Ascetics who, by mystical and austere practices, have attained one or all of the five purposes: viz., the affluence, the form, or the society of the supernals, residence in the divine lokas; or identification with the deity, ஞானசித்தியடைந்தோர்; [ex சித்தி, success.] W. p. 924. A calendar which marks all the fasts, religious observance. &c., ceremonies prescribed on certain days of the year. திதித்துவயம், s. milēccam (p. 354) s. A country to the North of the Saraswati river in the neighborhood of Delhi, சரச்சுவதியாற்றின்வடதேசம். (சது.) மிலேச்சசாதிகள், s. Barbarous nations, foreigners. The tribes enumerated under this head by Menu, appear to be principally the inhabitants of the countries bordering on India, north and south; especially those adjacent to Bengal and Behar, and on the Southern part of the Coromandel coast, which are severally called Paundrakas, O'dras (Uriyas), and Draviras; also the Cambojas; Yavanas (Greeks or Bactrians); Sakas; Paravas; Pahlavas (ancient Persians); Chinese; Kiratas, generally mountaineers; Deradas (Darad&ae;) and K'hasas (Scuthi). W. p. 677.--Note. The term is now applied, more especially, to Europeans, and those from any remote country. மிலேச்சதேசம்--மிலேச்சமண்டலம், s. A foreign country, a country on the borders of India.--According to Wills. any country where the black antelope is not found. மிலேச்சத்தனம், s. Clownishness, barbarism. மிலேச்சன், s. [fem. மிலேச்சி, மிலேச் சஸ்திரீ.] A barbarian, one of a foreign tribe, of a foreign religion, customs, &c., கண்டகன்.-- According to Wils. one speaking any language but Sanskrit, and not subject to the usual Hindu institutions. 2. A weak man, simpleton, dunce, dolt, பேதையன். 3. A clown, clodhopper, மடையன்.
