kungkiliym (p. 114) s. [sometimes spelled குங் குலியம்.] Resinous gum, of which there are varieties, viz.: கருங்குங்கிலியம், செங்குங்கிலியம். பச்சைக்குங்கிலியம், வெள்ளைக்குங்கிலியம்; which see severally. See குக்குலு. குங்கிலியத்தூள், s. Pulverized resin; pounce. குங்கிலியப்புகைகாட்ட--குங்கிலியப்பு கைகொடுக்க, inf. To wave or offer incense of resin in a temple, or to cause possession for the utterance of oracles, &c. 27)

Saffron or yellow colour; red colour; குங்குமநிறம். குங்குமஞ்சுமந்தகழுதைபோல். Like the ass that carries red paint, getting no benefit form it. குங்குமப்பூ, s. European saffron, ஓர் மருந்து. 2. The flower of the குங்குமம் tree, குங்குமமரத்தின்பூ. குங்குமக்காவி, s. Saffron-ochre, செ ங்காவி. குங்குமப்பொட்டு, s. A spot of red paint on the forehead. குங்குமவர்ணம், s. Saffron-color. குங்குமவாடை, s. Saffron-odor. குங்குமச்சம்பா, s. A yellow kind of rice, ஓர்நெல். குங்குமபாஷாணம், s. A kind of prepared arsenic, அஞ்சற்குளச்சி. குங்குமவலரி, s.
