kumari (p. 122) s. A girl, arrived at maturity and unmarried; a lass, பருவமுடையவள். 2. A virgin, a maid, கன்னியை. 3. A youthful daughter, புதல்வி. 4. The name of the daughter of Bharata, to whose share the southern division of Bharatavarsha or India fell, and from whom the southern extremity of the peninsula was called Cape Comorin or Kumari, பரதன்மகள். 5. Unfadingness, imperishableness, unchanging youthfulness, அழிவின்மை. 6. The wild aloe. (See கற்றாழை.) 7.
