அகண்டம்
akaṇṭam (p. 1) s. [priv. அ et கண்டம்.] That which is without parts, entireness. அபின்னம். Wils. p. 5. AKHANDA. (p.) அகண்டமாய், adv. Entirely, wholly. அகண்டன், s. akaḷangkam (p. 2) s. [priv. அ et களங் கம், spot.] Purity, சுத்தம். 2. A kind of arsenic, சீதாங்கபர்ஷாணம். (p.) அகளங்கமூர்த்தி--அகளங்கன், s. The spotless one, God. 2. Budha. 51)

அசட்டை
acṭṭai (p. 5) s. [priv. அ et சட்டை.] Neglect, inattention, heedlessness, recklessness, indifference, வேண்டாமை. 2. Contempt, disdain, disesteem, disrespect, மதியா மை. (c.) அசட்டைப்பண்ண, v. a. To neglect, disregard, contemn, disdain. 63)
அசதி
acti (p. 5) s. Ridicule, scoffing, laughter, joking, pleasantry, சிரித்துப்பேசுகை. (p.) 2. (பஞ்.) Sunddenness, சடுதி. 3. Lightness, carelessness, (often used for அயர்தி). 4. Drowsiness, சோர்வு. 5. The name of a certain man who was praised by ஔவையார், supposed to be a shephered, ஔவையார் கேர வைபாடப்பெற்றவன். (c.) 6. (St.) An unchaste woman, வசவி. (p.) அசதிக்கோவை, s. The name of a book wherein a shepherd named அசதி is praised by ஔவையார்; it contains four hundred stanzas like all கோவை books. அசதிசன்னி, s. Apoplexy. (M. Dic.) அசதியற, (used adverbially.) Attentively, giving the whole attention, free from other dares. காதலர்தாய்தந்தைவைகுழி அசதியாடிலர், they indulge not in laughter in the presence of the father and mother of their husbands. 64) *

acru (p. 5) --அசர், கிறேன், அசர்ந்தேன், வேன், அசர, v. n. To become faint, careless, drowsy, &c., for அயரு. (c.) அசர்ந்துபோனான், he was fatigued. 88)
அஞ்சு
añcu (p. 7) கிறேன், அஞ்சினேன், வேன், அஞ்ச, v. a. [used with the dative, sometimes with the accusative.] To fear, dread, பயப்பட, as அவனுக்கஞ்சுகிறேன், I fear him; அவனையஞ்சினான். He feared him. அஞ்சல், v. noun. Fearing, dreading, பயப்படல், Also the optative, வியங் கோண்முற்று. 2. Defeat, தோல்வி. அஞ்சாப்பட்டயம், s. [prov.] A certificate from the king, formerly inscribed on metal, clearing a man from the charge of guilt and re-establishing his rights as a citizen; a writ of authority, a security against oppression or ill-treatment. 3. A passport or writ of protection in passing through a country, தத்துவபரிபாலனபத்திரம். அஞ்சாமை, neg. v. noun. Fearlessness, கலங்காமை. 44)
அடக்கு
aṭkku (p. 7) கிறேன், அடக்கினேன், வேன், அடக்க, v. a. To subject, control, curb, bring to order--as foes, &c., compress, coerce, restrain, tame, break--as a horse--constrain, repress, cause to recede, bring one to terms, to still, compose, கீழ்ப் படுத்த. 2. To reduce, lessen, condense, abbreviate, குறைக்க. 3. To deposit, conceal, stow away, cover, inter, infold, புதைக்க. 4. To contain, hold, கொள்ள. 5. To encroach upon, seize unjustly, கவர. 6. To engross, monopolize, கைவசஞ்செய்ய. 7. To embody, incorporate, திரட்ட. அடக்கி, s. A taciturn person, one who conceals his real circumstances, ability, &c. 55)
அதமம்
atamam (p. 10) s. Inferiority, lowness, க டைத்தரம். 2. Vileness, baseness, கேடு. Wils. p. 21. AD'HAMA. அதமதானம், s. Giving for the sake of praise, or through fear, partiality, &c., which is of the lowest merit, as கடைப்படுதானம். அதமபட்சம், s. The lowest kind or class, lowest degree. அதமன், s. A mean, vile, abandoned man. அதமாங்கம், s. The foot, கால். அதமாதமன், s. The vilest of the vile, most worthless, the most abandoned. 20) *
அதிஷ்டம்
atiṣṭam (p. 11) --அதிட்டம், s. Luck good or bad, (commonly good) fortune, propitious events happening as the fruit of actions performed in previous births, நல்வினைப்பயன்; ex திஷ்டம். Wils. p. 2. ADRISHTA. அதிஷ்டக்காரன்--அதிஷ்டசாலி-அதிஷ்டவான், 6. A lucky, blessed, fortunate man. அதிஷ்டவீனர், s. Unlucky persons. 9)

attiyantam (p. 13) s. Much, excessiveness boundlessness, unchangeableness, அ நந்தம். Wils. p. 18. ATYANTA. 2. A number, ten thousand quintillions, ஓரெண்; ex அதி, beyond, et அந்தம், boundary.
