A sheep, ஆடு. 7. Swiftness, சீக் கிரம். 8. A bad smell, நாற்றம். 9. A devil, பிசாசம். 1. The dance of a pujari possessed by an evil spirit, வேலனாடல். (சது.) வெறிகொள்ளல்--வெறியெடுத்தல், v. noun. Being drunk or mad from liquor, or anger; growing violent. வெறிக்குணம், s. An angry temper, கோபக்குணம். வெறியன், s. A drunkard; a mad man. வெறியாட, inf. To be drunk, to act like a drunken person. 2. To shake and gesticulate as though possessed, through incantations. வெறியாட்டு, v. noun. The agitation, and shaking, &c., of one possessed, சன் னதம். வெறியாட்டாளர், s. Bacchanalian dancers, தேவர்க்காடுவோர். வெறியோட, inf. To be in despair, as one who has lost a very dear friend, நம்பிக்கையற. 2. To become empty, as a house by the death of its inhabitants, வெறுமையாக. 3. To be overcome as by the sight of excessive brilliancy, திகைக்க. மின்னாருங்கண்கள்வெறியோடிவிட்டனவே......
