To unload, unlade, discharge, இறக்க.--Note The most common compounds are, அஸ்தி வாரம்பறிக்க, to dig for a foundation; களைபறிக்க, to weed; தேங்காய்பறிக்க, to pluck cocoa-nuts; தட்டிப்பறிக்க, to get by stratagem; பூப்பறிக்க, மலர்பறிக்க, to crop flowers; பணம்பறிக்க, to juggle away money; மண்பறிக்க, to dig out earth; வெட்டிப்பறிக்க, to root up a tree, or undermine a wall. பறித்தகாட்டுக்குப்பயமில்லை. There is nothing to fear in a jungle, where a robbery has just been committed பறிமுதல், s. Confiscated property. 2. Things plundered from a single person. பறி, v. noun. To be broken off as affection, friendship, attachment, earthly ties. 2. To be extirpated, exhausted, to be extinct; used also as an adverb. பற்றுக்கொண்டுபோய்விட்டான். He has taken all away. பற்றாக்கை, s. [also பற்றார்க்கை.] A cord or string to tie a bunch of arrows, அம்புகட்டுங்கயிறு. 2. A cord in general for tying, கட்டுங்கயிறு. (சது.) பற்றிலி, appel. n. One free from sensual attachments--as the Deity, or an advanced devotee. பற்றுக்கால், s. Supporter of a lever, or swing. பற்றுக்குறடு, s. A pair of tongs; sometimes பற்றுகுறடு. பற்றுக்கொள்ள, inf. To be attached, as the mind to earthly things. பற்றுக்கொண்டாட, inf. To be greatly attached to objects of sense. பற்றுக்கோடு, s. To speak or act so as to commit one's self, to divulge one's affairs unintentionally. பிடிகொடாதபேச்சு, Talk of which the meaning cannot be made out. 2. Abuse or irony in terms not to be taken hold of for prosecution. பிடிக்கட்டு, s. A little bundle especially of palm-leaves, tied up. பிடிக்கொழுக்கட்டை, s. A kind of கொழுக்கட்டை pastry. பிடிசுட்டுப்படைக்க, inf. [prov.] To bake little cakes and offer them to the household gods. பிடிதண்டம், s. Unjust seizure of a person. See தண்டம். பிடிநெல்லு, s. A handful of paddy, taken from each marcal by the servants at the public store, as their perquisite for measuring. பிடிநெல்லுக்கிள்ள, inf. [prov.] To take the handful of paddy for measuring. பிடிபிடியென்றுநிற்க, inf. [fig.] To hasten a business. பிடிபோட, inf. To put a handle to any implement. பிடிப்பிச்சை, s. A handful of rice given by a house-wife to the Brahmans, or other religious mendicants. பிடிப்பிட்டு, s. A small kind of confectionary, ஓர்சிற்றுண்டி. பிடிமண், s. A handful of sand. நானுன்வாயிற்பிடிமண்போடுகிறேன். I put a handful of sand in your mouth-spoken in anger. பிடியரிசி, s. Handfuls of rice taken from the daily allowance, for charity. பிடியாள், s. A person seized or taken into custody. 2. As அமஞ்சியாள். பிடியெழுத்தாணி, s. A style in a handle, usually folding and with a knife. பிடிமானம், s. Affection, attachment, fondness, favoritism, அன்பு. 2. Relish, zest; a liking, பிரியம். 3. Acquisition, money amassed, தேட்டம். 4. Frugality, sparingness, parsimony, உலோபம். Rigidness, bigotry, pertinacity, perseverance, உறுதி. பிடிமானமில்லாமற்செலவுசெய்கிறான். He expends profusely. பிடியன், appel. n. [vul.] A pot that will hold any given quantity. 2. s. If there be a heavy girdle [from money], there will be fear in the way. கரைமடி, s. A shore-net. தட்டுமடி, s. A deep sea-net. மடிகசக்க--மடிபிசைய, inf. To rub the udder of a cow to fit it for milking. மடிகழுவ, inf. To mollify and wash the udder of a cow after calving. மடிகோல, inf. To make a large lap or fold for the reception of any thing to be given, showing greediness. மடிசுரக்க, inf. To form, as milk in the udder. மடிச்சீலை--மடிப்பை, s. A purse kept in the girdle. மடிபிடி, v. noun. Fisticuffs, scuffle, seizure of one by the waist-cloth. 2. Difficulties and quarrels between persons, சண்டை. மடிபிடிக்க, inf.
