W. p. 677.--Note. The term is now applied, more especially, to Europeans, and those from any remote country. மிலேச்சதேசம்--மிலேச்சமண்டலம், s. A foreign country, a country on the borders of India.--According to Wills. any country where the black antelope is not found. மிலேச்சத்தனம், s. Clownishness, barbarism. மிலேச்சன், s. [fem. மிலேச்சி, மிலேச் சஸ்திரீ.] A barbarian, one of a foreign tribe, of a foreign religion, customs, &c., கண்டகன்.-- According to Wils. one speaking any language but Sanskrit, and not subject to the usual Hindu institutions. 2. A weak man, simpleton, dunce, dolt, பேதையன். 3. A clown, clodhopper, மடையன்.
