உவர்
uvr (p. 66) க்கிறது, த்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. To taste salt or brackish, உப்புக்கரிக்க. 2. To taste harsh, astringent, &c.--as any of the mineral salts, துவர்க்க. 3. To be unpleasant, disagreeable, &c., அரோசிக்க. 4. v. a. [with personal terminations.] To dislike, abhor, feel aversion to, வெறுக்க. உவர், v. noun. Dislike, loathing, வெறுப்பு. உவர்ப்பு, v. noun. Saltishness, brackishness, உப்புக்கரிப்பு. 2. Harshness (of taste), astringency, துவர்ப்பு. 3. (p.) Aversion, disgust, abhorrence, dislike, வெறுப்பு. 4. Insult, contempt, நிந்தை.-Note. உவர்ப்பு, 6. There are six unpleasant dispositions of men, viz.: 1. ஆசியம் or அவமதிச்சிரிப்பு, derision. 2. இரதி or பேரா சை, vehement desire. 3. அரதி or வெறுப்பு, dislike. 4. சோகம் or சோர்வு, swoon, deliquium. 5. பயம் or அச்சம், fear. 6. குற்சை or அருவருப்பு, abhorrence. 80)
சீ
cī (p. 190) An interjection of contempt, shame, disgust, &c; fie! hush! pish! pshaw! pugh! இகழ்ச்சிக்குறிப்பு. 2. s. Pus of a boil, புண் ணின்சீழ். 3. Semen virile, விந்து. 4. adv. As சின்னாயி. சின்னாயி, s. The mother's younger sister or the wife of the father's younger brother; also a step mother. (c.) 8)

The three enemies are: பைசாசு, the devil; 2. உலகு, the world; 3. உடல், the body or flesh. (சது.) உட்பகை, 6, s. The six internal foes attached to the soul: காமம், lust; 2. குரோதம், anger; 3. உலோபம், avarice; 4. மோகம், sensuality; 5. மதம், pride; 6. மாச்சரியம், envy or malice. பகைமுன்னெதிரேறல். Facing an enemy. பகைமேற்செல்லல். Going against an enemy. முற்பகைசெய்யிற்பிற்பகைவிளையும். He who hates will be hated in return. (Avv.) இருளுக்குசூரியன்பகை. Being displeased with, being at variance. பகைமன்னர், s. [pl.] Hostile kings. பகையகம், s. Battle-field, போர்க்களம்; [ex அகம், place.] (சது.) பகையாளி, s. A foe, an enemy. (c.) பகையாளிக்குடியைஉறவாடிக்கெடுக்கிறது. Destroying the habitation of an enemy by feigning friendship. பகைவர், s. [sing. பகைவன்.] Enemies. பகைவர்அரண்வளைத்தல். Besieging an enemy's fort. 27)

pyirppu (p. 296) s. Disgusting or abhorrent feelings at the sight, or hearing of any thing offensive, &c., அருவருப்பு. 2. Impurity, uncleanliness, அசுத்தம். (சது.) 3. Delicacy; being one of the four female qualities. See நாற்குணம் under குணம். 11)
