puḷḷi (p. 328) s. A small cipher, as a mark in writing, பொறி. 2. A dot, speck, point, jot, பொட்டுக்குறி. 3. A cipher in arithmetic or numbers, இலக்கப்புள்ளி. 4. A trader's private mark, indicating quality or value, மதிப்படையாளம். 5. Estimation, apprizement, மதிப்பு. 6. A round mark or circle set over an inanimate consonant, ஒற்றெழுத்துமேலிடும்புள்ளி. 7. An inanimate consonant, மெய்யெழுத்து. 8. The letter written ஃ, ஆய்தப்புள்ளி. 9. (fig.) A large sum, பெருந்தொகை. 1. (சது.) A lizard, பல்லி. 11. A crab, நண்டு. கண்ணிலேபுள்ளிவிழுந்தது. A speck is grown in the eye. (R.) புள்ளிக்கணக்கு, s. Method adopted by tradesmen in marking cloth. 2. Practical arithmetic, ciphering. புள்ளிக்கணக்கன், s.
