ktṟu (p. 91) கிறேன், கதறினேன், வேன், க தற, v. n. To cry aloud from pain or grief, to shriek, to scream--as a child, அழ. 2. To bellow--as a cow for its young, to cry-- as a deer or as a calf, கத்த. கன்றைநினைத்துப்பசுக்கதறிக்கொண்டோடிற்று. The cow ran bellowing after her calf. பிள்ளைவருத்தத்தினாற்கதறுகிறான். kṉai (p. 102) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. (generally used with the impers. terminations.) To sound, roar--as the sea, a drum, &c., ஒலிக்க. 2. To neigh--as horses; to whinny, bray--as asses; to bellow--as buffaloes; to bleat--as he-goats in rut, குதி ரைமுதலியகனைக்க. 3.
