coṇṭu (p. 210) s. [prov. and improp.] A beak, bill, பறவைமூக்கு. 2. Lip, உதடு. 3. Blubber-lip, பெருஉதடு. 4. Thick brim of pots, பாத்திரவிளிம்பு. நீயேன் என்னைகச்சொண்டுபேசுகிறாய். Why do you abuse me? சொண்டடிக்க, inf. To blubber in speaking--as an old man. சொண்டன்--சொண்டுக்காரன், s. A thick blubber-lipped person. சொண்டுகூட்ட, inf.
