cīṭṭu (p. 190) s. Chit, note, billet, letter, epistle, பத்திரம். 2. Bond, bill, draft, voucher, writ, உண்டிச்சீட்டு. 3. Lottery; a lot in sortilege, திருவுளச்சீட்டு. (c.) சீட்டாள், s. A note-bearer, a lettercarrier. சீட்டாளுக்கொருமூட்டாள்செருப்புத்தூக்கிக்கொரு அடப்பக்காரனா. Does a letter-carrier require an assistant; or a shoe-bearer a pouchkeeper? சீட்டுக்கொடுக்க, inf. To tender a bond, writing, voucher, draft, &c. சீட்டுநாட்டு, s. Notes, bonds, &c. சீட்டுநாட்டுப்பண்ண, inf. To write a bond, or agreement, &c. சீட்டுப்பணம், s.
