To lean or fall on one side, through weakness. பாடுகாயம்--பாடானகாயம், s. A mortal wound, as படுகாயம். பாடுசேதம், s. Loss, waste in measuring or melting metals, &c. பாடுபட, inf. To suffer, to endure hardship, pain, trouble. 2. To take pains, to labor hard, to try, to endeavor. பாடுபடவிதித்தாயோதெய்வமே. O, God! hast thou doomed me to suffer thus? பாடுபடுத்த, inf. [causative.] To afflict, to put to pain; to torture. 2. To set to hard labor, to keep one hard at work. பாடுபடுத்திக்கேட்க, inf. To question by torture. பாடுபட்டுத்தேட, inf.
