kēṭu (p. 139) v. noun. Ruin, destruction, annihilation, அழிவு. 2. Loss, waste, damage, சிதைவு. 3. Degeneracy, depravity, கெடுதி. 4. Vice, debauchery, wickedness, corruption, துரோகம். 5. Injury, mischief, தீமை. 6. Adversity, indigence, wretchedness, வறுமை. 7. Ugliness, deformity, அந்தக்கேடு. 8. Want, destitution, குறைவு. 9. [in gram.] Elision, omission, கெடுதல்விகாரம்; [ex கெடு, v.] கேடுவரும்போது மதிகெட்டுவரும். Folly precedes destruction. கேடுகாலம், s.
