cilēṭai (p. 186) --சிலேஷை, s. A figure of Rhetoric, a paronomasia, in which a word or phrase has a double meaning; a pun, a quibble, உபயார்த்தசொற்றொடர், as நீர்வாரும், which may mean, come thou, or pour water. See அலங்காரம். W. p. 866. S'LESHA. --Note. There are two kinds of சிலேடை. viz., செம்மொழிச்சிலேடை, பிரிமொழிச்சிலேடை, which see. சிலேடைதீவகம், s. A union of the two figures, சிலேடை and தீவகம். சிலேடையாய்ப்பேச, inf. cilēṭṭumam (p. 186) --சிலேஷமம் s. The phlegmatic humor, one of the three principal humors or fluids of the body, முப்பிணியினொன்று. W. p. 866. S'LESHMAN. See பிணி. Also written, சிலேற்பனம். நாடிசிலேட்டுமத்தைப்பற்றியிருக்கிறது. The pulse is affected by phlegm (in the patient). சிலேட்டுமகாசம், s. Phlegmatic consumption. See காசம். சிலேட்டுமகுன்மம், s. Disease from excess of phlegm. See குன்மம். சிலேட்டுமங்கட்டியிழுக்க--சிலேட்டும மிழுக்க, inf. To rattle in the throat--as a dying person. சிலேட்டுமசரீரம், inf. A constitution in which the phlegmatic humor preponderates. See சரீரக்கூறு. சிலேட்டுமசூலை--சிலேட்டுமபித்தசூலை, s. Phlegmatic gout. See சூலை. சிலேட்டுமநடக்க, inf. [prov.] To rattle in the throat. 2. To have a low pulse --as a dying person. சிலேட்டுமநாடி, s. A low pulse. சிலேட்டுமவியாதி, s. Asthma and other phlegmatic diseases. சிலேட்டுமகுணம், s. Phlegmatic humor. சிலேட்டுமாதிசாரம், s.
