To be prepared--as food. சமைந்தபெண், s. A marriageable girl. சமைகிறபருவம், s. Time of puberty. சமையாதவள், s. [appel. neg.] A girl not arrived at puberty. சமைகடை, s. [prov.] The close, the end--as of a time, a season, an action, &c.; the exhaustion of a quantity, முடிவு. சமையல், v. noun. Cooking, cookery; that which is cooked. 2. (p.) An act, an action, செய்கை. சமையலாயிற்று. The food is ready, the provisions are cooked. சமையலாக, inf. To become cooked. சமையலாள்--சமையற்காரன், s. A cook. சமையற்புரை--சமையல்வீடு, s.
