nekku (p. 279) கிறது, நெக்கினது, ம், நெக்க, v. n. To be relaxed, to loosen, as நெகு. நெக்கு, v. noun. Soaked as the ground after rain; relaxing, dissolving, disjointing, losing tenacity, நெகிழ்ச்சி. 2. See நெக்கு. v. a. நெக்குடைதல், v. noun. Melting, as the heart in love, மனம்உருகுதல். நெக்குவிடுதல், v. noun. Becoming loose or relaxed, giving place as the earth, to roots, &c. நெட்டிருப்புப்பாரைக்குநெக்குவிடாப்பாறை. pārai (p. 312) s. A crowbar. See கடப்பாரை. (சது.) 2. A tool for cutting grass. See செதுக்குப்பாரை. (Tel. பார.) 3. Flat fish of several varieties, ஓர்மீன், Scomber aculeatus.--Note. Of the பாரை fish are, ஓட் டாம்பாரை, கட்டாம்பாரை, கருங்கண்ணிப்பாரை, கா சாம்பாரை, செங்கண்ணிப்பாரை, which see in their places. There is also a thick skinned fish, called தோற்பாரை. கட்டப்பாரையைவிழுங்கிப்போட்டுச் சுக்குக்கஷாயங் குடித்தாற்போமா? If you have swallowed an iron crow-bar, will it be removed by drinking ginger tea? i. e. will a great evil be easily removed? பாரைக்கருவாடு, s. Dried பாரை fish. பாரைக்கோல், s. An iron bar. 29) *

pāṟai (p. 313) s. Hillock, bank, திட்டை. (சது.) 2. [also பார்.] Rock, crag, a large stone, stratum of stone or other mineral fossil, &c., கற்பாறை. (c.) பாரைக்கசையாதபாறை.
