The natural disposition, natural temper. இயற்கைஞானம்--இயற்கையறிவு, s. Natural, inherent or intuitive wisdom--as a property of the Deity. இயற்கைதப்பினவன், s. A dishonest person. இயற்கைப்புணர்ச்சி, s. [in love poetry.] Marriage indicated by destiny, arising from previous actions and by natural choice and inclination, தலைவனுந் தலைவியுந்தம்முளொத்துப்புணர்கை. இயற்கைப்பொருள், s. A thing in nature--that which is not artificial --as the elements. இயற்கையறிவு, s. The knowledge which cannot be increased--as that of God. 2. Instinctive knowledge in distinction from that which is acquired; opp. to செயற்கையறிவு; which see. இயற்கையன்பு, s. A prescribed rule, order, method, custom, habit, முறை. 4. State, condition, circumstances, situation, rank, class, &c.--as applicable to man, brute, vegetable, &c., தன்மை. 5. Propriety, regularity, legitimacy, genuineness, நேர்மை. 6. Simplicity, plainness, honesty, frankness, இயற்கை. இயல்பினானில்வாழ்க்கைவாழ்பவன். The householder who discharges his domestic duties with propriety. (குறள்.) இயல்பானபகை, s. What is naturally uncongenial or counteracting-as medicine to the disease. இயல்பானபகையாளி, s. A foe by nature--as the cat to birds. இயல்புதப்பிப்போக, inf. To be dishonest, to act dishonestly, live disorderly, go beyond the proper bounds. இயல்புப்புணர்ச்சி, s. Disgraceful or improper language, பழிச்சொல், of which four kinds are enumerated, viz.: 1. கோள் --குறளை, an invidious or injurious report, tale bearing, aspersion, slander, backbiting. 2. பொய்மொழி, lying, falsehood. 3. கடுஞ்சொல், harsh expressions, irritating language, scolding. 4. பயனில்சொல், nonsense, idle talk, vain expressions. 2. A vulgar word, இழிவானசொல். இழிஞர், s. Low caste people, the vulgar, the wretched, the miserable, debased, ignoble persons, சண்டாளர். இழிதகவு, v. noun.
