To disseminate, propagate opinions, or reports, to diffuse rays, odors, &c., to over-spread, with clouds or darkness, பரவச் செய்ய. 4. To people, to furnish with inhabitants, to stock with creatures, விருத்தி செய்ய. 5. To place confusedly as books on a table, ஒழுங்கின்றிவைக்க.--The compounds in most common use are, கடைபரப்புதல், exposing goods in a bazaar; ஓடுபரப்புதல், tiling a house; கீர்த்திபரப்புதல், spreading one's fame; மணற்பரப்புதல், spreading sand. ஏன்எல்லாம்பரப்பிக்கிடக்கிறது.
